The Italians drink cappuccinos only during the
morning and only at a bar, even though it is possible to find
decent cappuccino and espresso machines for use at home.
A cappuccino is an espresso coffee to which is
added hot milk. It is served in big cups with a big layer
of foam on top. It is complemented by a sprinkling of cocoa
powder, to taste.
Foreigners who, in a classy bar or after a rich
dinner, ask for a cappuccino are smiled upon.
